A warm welcome and thank you for visiting Empress Tarot.
Please let me take this opportunity to introduce myself.
My name is Liz and I am the creator , reader and owner here at Empress Tarot.
I’m not a celebrity (far from it), I have never been on TV or radio, in fact, I have spent my entire life, so far, doing my best to avoid the limelight in every aspect of my life.
I come from pretty humble beginnings, the youngest of three sisters and born to working-class parents in the south coast of England.
Despite the unexceptional nature of my origins, I think I always felt a little different in some way, and in fact, when asked by the school careers advisor what I wanted to be when I left school my answer was simply ‘A Mother’.
It has always felt natural to me to help and support others, and to be honest I was never really overly academic, however, I was caring and compassionate, this is something that has always stayed with me throughout my adult life despite experiencing many personal up’s and down’s.
From a very young age, I have felt the influence of the “unseen”, I could feel an energy around me and I would at times see and hear people who others couldn’t , I would also dream vividly of things that had not yet come to pass, only to find out later that what I had seen in my dreams had indeed happened, sometimes miles away and weeks after my dreams, but sometimes at the exact time I was dreaming.
Whether this ‘ability was a gift or a nightmare was unclear to me for a long time and in fact, at times scared me, however, it also opened my eyes and my mind to the possibility that there really is more to our reality than we fully understand.
In an attempt to gain a better insight into my experiences I turned to the world of Tarot, Numerology, Runes, Oracle and my trusted pendulum. And a lifelong search for answers began.
A number of years later and now a mother to 8 children, I find myself standing here on the brink of another major change.
In the latter months of 2020, I took the plunge and began to offer Tarot, Oracle and Numerology readings via eBay, and although I have read for many other people over the years, anyone that knows me personally will tell you what a big step out of my comfort zone this was.
I have honestly been overwhelmed by the response I have and continue to receive. I am so thankful for all the lovely feedback my clients have sent me and for that, I will always be eternally grateful. so now I open the next chapter of my story, Empress Tarot.
My hope is that Empress Tarot website will serve both myself and my clients equally, by providing a platform for my own continued personal and spiritual development and by being a useful source of information and inspiration for my current and future clients alike.
I would like to send out a big thank you to all of my clients who have supported my endeavours this far, your continued support means so much to me and it has been both the inspiration and motivation for launching this website, you will always have a special place in my heart.
